In-N-Out Burger Texas Locations to Open in 2011
I just heard that my favorite burger joint, In-N-Out Burger, is planning on opening up locations in the Dallas, Texas area. So, I decided to search for when their opening dates were.
After searching, I found out only that they were planning locations in Garland and Ft. Worth. Nobody mentioned any opening date or where they were going to be.
So, I called up In-N-Out’s headquarters and asked if they could tell me when they were planning on opening up in Texas. The friendly lady on the other end of the line informed me that the plans were still “preliminary”, but that they’re hoping to open sometime next year. Unfortunately, she didn’t know anything more than that.
I wish I knew more, but that’s the latest official word. I’ll definitely post updates when I hear more.
As a side, I did find another article that specified the first location to be at Central Expressway and Caruth Haven, but I think it’s still too soon to tell for sure until they break ground somewhere.
Not enough voters, so I think it’s going to come down to this: Texas has Whataburger, but San Francisco has In ‘n’ Out Burger.

yeah sunshine and great weather 360 days a year is a real drag wish we could have all that humid clammy wet weather… lol
Talked to students from Texas Tech, Purdue and Colorado at In-n-Out in Irvine today.
We have Whataburger here in Texas. Love that place. Its my fave. I like it more than I did In n Out…
whataburger sux the only good thing they have is the honey bar b q chicken strip and thats only for a month and a half out of the year. in n out way better and fresher never saw anyone wait 45 min for a whatabuger
This is a catastrophe. In N Out is opening stores in Texas!
but I can get BBQ in San Francisco. It would be like missing in-n-out in Texas.

They are opening our stores in Allen, frisco and garland around some time in the beginning of May. They are planning on opening around 8 of INO’s in Tx but are starting off in Dallas FW to see how Tejans react. lol The meat facility is open as of today and they are having open interviews next week. Go to the grand openings early as possible although they open at 10. They give the first couple people a meal for free, free t shirts, and a special coin.

Everything you said was true except for the fact that they haven’t even broke ground in Garland. Allen and Frisco are nearly finished.
How did you know about the meat facility? Just curious.
